Adam Landman, MD, MS, MIS, MHS
Adam Landman, MD, MS, MIS, MHS, is Brigham and Women’s Health Care’s (BWHC) Chief Information Officer (CIO). As CIO, Dr. Landman is responsible for maintaining a focus on excellence while developing system-wide strategic IT initiatives, with the goal of evolving the next generation of information systems across the BWHC enterprise.
Dr. Landman is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Clinical Informatics. He joined BWH in 2010 as director of Clinical Information in the Department of Emergency Medicine, where he led the project to move BWH ED clinicians from paper-based to electronic documentation. He also led the team that built the CliniCam mobile app, a secure and convenient image sharing app for acquiring digital images and storing them in the electronic health record, which was made available for all clinical users in the hospital.
He previously served the hospital as the Chief Medical Information Officer for Health Information Innovation & Integration (CMIO), where he oversaw a range of BWHC Partners eCare (PeC) responsibilities, such as the local implementation of the Sunquest laboratory information system and integration with Epic, with a novel positive patient identification specimen collection solution that has reduced laboratory specimen errors for inpatients. He had also been driving efforts at both the local and industry levels to improve the experience of hospital patients and visitors, strengthening the innovation culture at BWHC through programs like the Innovation Hub, and collaborating with external digital health companies and start-ups.
Dr. Landman received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMNDJ)-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and trained in Emergency Medicine at UCLA Medical Center. He was a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar at Yale University, where he also received his masters of Health Sciences. He completed graduate degrees in Information Systems and Health Care Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University.



Mark Zhang, DO, MMSc
Haipeng (Mark) Zhang D.O. is the Medical Director of the Brigham Digital Innovation Hub, as well as of Digital Health Implementation at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Zhang also holds the position of Associate Program Director of the Clinical Informatics and Innovation Fellowship at Partners Healthcare and a Palliative Care consultant at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Zhang completed an Internal Medicine residency and a chief year at Allegheny General Hospital. He is a graduate of the Harvard Interprofessional Palliative Care Fellowship, the first graduate of the Clinical Informatics and Innovation fellowship at Partners Healthcare, and completed a Masters Medical Science in Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School.
Throughout his career, Mark has held an interest in leveraging technology to improve clinical medicine. He is the founder and co-creator of Palliative Care Fast Facts for iOS and Android mobile applications. This application is one of the most widely used mobile reference applications in palliative care in the world. He is the co-founder of Cake, a venture backed company focused on advance care planning.
He also founded and was the first president of AMIA Clinical Informatics Fellows (ACIF), the national organization for clinical informatics fellows.

Gabrielle Choo-Kang
Gabrielle Choo-Kang is an Innovation and Operations Analyst at the Brigham Digital Innovation Hub (iHub). She is excited to be a member of the iHub team and work at the intersection of technology, healthcare, and design. Prior to joining the iHub, Gabrielle received a Master of Science in Health Technology and Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her academic interests have led her to conduct biofilm disinfection research, design safe water treatment in rural Ecuador, build concrete canoes, and model accelerometry data to assess frailty in older adults.



Mimi Dunn
Mimi Dunn is an Innovation and Operations Analyst for the Brigham Digital Innovation Hub. She is responsible for managing and monitoring the iHub’s core functions to ensure operational success as well as fostering and supporting digital health initiatives at the Brigham.
Prior to joining the iHub, Mimi worked as a technology consultant at IBM and held internships as a healthcare consultant and healthcare strategic markets analyst. She graduated from University of Notre Dame with a Major in Economics and supplementary coursework in Science, Technology, and Values.
Mimi’s interest in healthcare has grown organically through her life experiences, education, and prior job opportunities. It has taken her as far as China to study Traditional Chinese medicine and dominated her bookshelf and email inbox with relevant books and newsletters. Mimi is particularly interested in utilizing technology to create cohesive patient health profiles, enabling physicians and stakeholders to have a holistic picture of patient history and more effectively treat them as a whole person versus a string of symptoms. She is excited to be a member of the iHub to pursue a path in healthcare innovation that impacts care delivery and the human experience.



Jonathan Letourneau
Jonathan Letourneau is a strategic innovator and problem solver focused on systems design from the perspective of human centered design. He contributes to the Brigham Digital Innovation Hub (iHub) through his interdisciplinary background spanning user experience, business strategy, and visual design. Prior to joining the iHub, Jonathan spent time at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where he helped lead the patient experience journey mapping project, seeking to improve the quality of life for patients through understanding their lived experience. Jonathan received his master’s degree in Design Innovation from MassArt, with specialties in user experience design, contextual research, and concept development.

Aaron Pikcilingis
Aaron Pikcilingis is an Innovation Specialist with the iHub. A generalist with deep expertise in software development, human-centered design, and healthcare, Pikcilingis supports innovators at the Brigham as they develop novel ideas for improving healthcare, providing strategic advice and logistical guidance for their early-stage ideas.
Prior to joining the iHub, Pikcilingis spent three years at ViiV Healthcare’s hive innovation unit, where he led innovation design sprint teams focused on devising programs to support people living with HIV, then managed the evaluation and implementation of multiple programs developed by the hive. Before that, Aaron spent 10 years as a software developer at Boston Children’s Hospital creating digital tools to identify and assess health-related social needs and monitor remotely the symptoms and experiences of patients living with chronic pediatric disease. Over the past several years he has also undertaken pro bono consulting for nonprofits in the northeast and taken on roles in local government, serving as an elected member of his local legislative body and as an appointed member of multiple town committees focused on structural change.
Pikcilingis’ interests include the social determinants of health, role of temporal experiences and expectations in healthcare, and exploring the bicycle as a tool for social change and improved health, but he is also excited to hear about and help develop ideas on any topic that will improve the work we do at the Brigham.
Pikcilingis is a graduate of Skidmore College with a degree in social psychology, focusing on the mechanisms and impacts of social stratification.



Rintaro Sato
Rin Sato is an Innovation and Operations Analyst at the Brigham Digital Innovation Hub (iHub). As an active contributor to iHub’s digital transformation projects, Rin has had the opportunity to work alongside hospital leaders across Mass General Brigham and software engineers to shape development of both patient and employee facing products such as Mass General Brigham COVID-19 Prescreen, Covid Pass, and Pallicovid. Prior to joining iHub, Rin’s prior experiences include technology consulting and project management and is an Information Systems graduate of Carnegie Mellon University.


Marc Succi, MD
A Toronto native, graduate of McMaster University, Harvard Medical School, and previous MIT researcher, as a board-certified emergency radiologist Dr. Succi’s work is focused on clinical radiology, intellectual property, operations and corporate-management, medical content production, device invention, and education. He holds multiple published or pending patents, several of which are licensed to public and private biotechnology companies. He is the founder of two medically-focused startups, and currently the CEO of one.
Dr. Succi has been named to the Forbes Magazine Top 30 Under 30 in Science and Healthcare List, won the MIT Data Prize, named one of the top Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs and Innovators by CEO World, and was awarded Governor General’s Medal of Canada. Dr. Succi is the only person to have won the Massachusetts Medical Society Information Technology Award twice throughout the award’s 20 year history.
Dr. Succi is the Founder and Executive Director of the Medically Engineered Solutions in Healthcare (MESH) Incubator at MGH, a first-in-kind division designed to harness ground-level clinical needs into patentable and licensable intellectual property. MESH collaborates with both internal Harvard labs as well as external industry, MIT, Harvard Business School and many others. MESH holds multiple pending or published patents and is the creator of the first integrated innovation curriculum in a medical training program (www.meshincubator.com), which is now an MGB-wide innovation program and also taught at international medical conferences. MESH also supports Mass General Brigham-wide innovation infrastructure through Dr. Succi’s role as part of MGB Innovation, including the Innovation MESH Network – an MGB innovation education and collaboration platform.
Dr. Succi is the founder and Chief Editor of 2 Minute Medicine®, an award-winning medical publishing company and peer-reviewed medical news and content licensor. The organization licenses its original medical content and news to industries around the globe, including the biotech, pharma, publishing, imaging, and education industries. He leads a staff of over 70 physicians and medical professionals in this role (www.2minutemedicine.com). As a writer, Dr. Succi has personally written/edited and licensed over 500 medical reports reviewing practice-changing literature to the biotech, pharma, publishing, imaging, and education industries, including co-authoring two textbooks.
